Role Overview

Lead role responsible for embedding the standards, methods, and procedures set out within the ISO 19650 information management framework. The primary focus is to implement information management requirements within the project delivery team and ensure a managed transition to new ways of working.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee project information delivery management in line with the accepted BIM Execution Plan and Master Information Delivery Plan.

  • Plan and oversee the transition from legacy systems to new ways of working by liaising with existing or newly started projects.

  • Ensure the adoption and compliant use of Project Common Data Environment systems across all packages and contracts.

  • Provide training and guidance for ACC, GIS Platforms, and Project SharePoint CDE components.

  • Maintain the CDE access model and oversee implementation changes with the CDE administrators.

  • Assess the capacity and capability of package delivery teams related to information delivery.

  • Oversee the work of client information delivery teams including document control, GIS, and BIM.

  • Support the project team in reviewing and responding to contract events related to digital and information delivery.

  • Participate in the project information risk register and raise risks or opportunities with IM function leads.

Requirements and Skills

  • ISO 19650 Experience: Significant experience acting as a Project Information Manager on major projects with a focus on ISO 19650.

  • CDE Proficiency: Ability to oversee the configuration of Common Data Environment systems including testing and alignment of workflows.

  • Technical Standards: Thorough understanding of the application and assessment of COBie and IfC standards.

  • Digital Engineering: Experience in infrastructure delivery including the development and review of EIR and BEP documentation.

  • Data Specification: Competency in developing data specifications, data schemas, and data exchange requirements.

Qualifications

  • Professional competence in ISO 19650 or BS1192
